Family Vacation

We recently returned from our first family vacation. Braxton, Jon, and I rented a cabin near Walker, Minnesota, with Grandma and Grandpa Southam and Aunt Kerri and Uncle Rhett. We had a wonderful time. We spent our time fishing, shopping, cooking out, and spending time trying to get the baby to smile. Braxton celebrated his three month birthday while we were there. Braxton has been growing so much the last several weeks. Just today, he weighed in (unofficially) at 18 1/2 pounds! He is smiling often and starting to laugh out loud (just a little bit). Luckily for us, he is still sleeping through the night, which we really appreciate. I continue to feel so blessed to have such a wonderful joy to celebrate every day. I still marvel every day at how much our lives have changed since Braxton came into them. The favorite part of my day is hearing him wriggling around in bed and going in to see him. He is often laying there with his eyes closed making noise. When I say, "Good Morning, Baby", he opens his eyes and hands out his biggest smile for the day. It makes your heart melt!
