The Big "1/2"
It is official. As of this Sunday, Braxton will be six months old. Oh, how the time has flown and how life has changed us! I can't even remember what my life was like six months ago. Braxton has completely changed our world over the last six months, and I count my blessings every day that we have him here with us.
At the six month bench mark, he is now sitting all by himself with very few "oopps!". He can pull himself up if you hold his hands. And he has a long list of food that we have tackled - sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, green beans, oatmeal, and next we are on to peas (ooohh :). After the peas, we are on to fruit. Then the world will be wide open for us :).
His personality continues to grow every day. His smiles light up the room. Besides those, though, Braxton has a new favorite expression - close our eyes tight, clench our fists, flex our muscles, and say "GRRR" as long as you can before you can't breathe anymore and your face turns red. He does it when he is angry, when he is tired, or when he simply wants your attention. And we laugh every time (that might be why he does it so often...).
We just celebrated our first Thanksgiving, but unlike the pilgrims, Braxton found no joy in the feast. He would rather stick to the oatmeal and green beans, I guess. And last weekend, we took his six month pictures. A few of them are attached here. Enjoy!
