Happy New Year!!

Well, the new year is off to a good, if not somewhat quiet start. There is not a whole lot of news to report, but I thought I would let everyone know that things here are going well. Braxton continues to grow like a weed. He now has FOUR teeth! He can turn himself in a 360 degree circle on his belly and is babbling all of the time. We are still working on pulling up on things or crawling. Hard to say when that will be. His dad would sure like to see him walking one of these days soon, but I think Jon should be careful what he wishes for! He is working hard to maintain his active and animated character and brings us new surprises every day.

Jon has been busy, as usual. His work keeps him on his toes, as to all of the other projects that he takes on on the side. He has officially put in his notice with the State of ND that he will be resigning from his position at the end of February. There will be lots of exciting changes in the Perkins household over the next several months, to say the least!! Keep your fingers crossed for us and I will keep you posted as to how things are going.

As far as me, this week was the first week of my employee based internship for my Master's degree. I am spending 32 hours of my week on the Chemical Dependency Unit, providing case management, as well as group therapy. So far, I am enjoying it, though being pulled all different directions is a bit draining! I am looking forward to graduation this April!! I will then have those long-sought after credentials to put behind my name :).
