Advantage Electric

Though this is not a blog on all of the exciting events in Braxton's life at this very moment, this is something I am pretty sure will have a significant impact on his life in the years to come. March 1st will be the grand opening of Advantage Electric. As you can see by the business card, this is Jon's electrical business venture with his long time friend and now colleague, Casey.

It has been a long several months of planning and preparing (and nail biting), and now the day is just around the corner. Jon's last day as the State Electrical Inspector for this region is tomorrow. The kick off for the new company is Saturday. Everyone is very excited, if not quite nervous, about all of the changes the family will be experiencing in the next several months (and years).

Jon is really looking forward to being his own boss and having an opportunity to successfully start a business of his own. He is tentatively optimistic that there is a significant need for electricians throughout Jamestown and the surrounding areas. He is fortunate to have made many, many contacts throughout the last several years here. Braxton and I are also very excited for him (though a little nervous about getting the bills paid the next several months :). Though it will take Jon away from us maybe more than we would like at first, we are hopeful that this will lead to some excellent opportunities and experiences down the road.

So, this is our big news at the moment. Wish us all luck as we muddle our way through this new experience! And if you're looking for an electrician, keep the card :) (ok, a shameless plug, but can you blame me? ;).
