Swimming in the Backyard (kind of)

Today, we set up Braxton's new swimming pool. After lunch, Jon and I got him all ready to go out and give it a try. Well, I guess we will only hope for a bit more enthusiasm from our little man the next time around ;). Though we put several buckets of warm water in it, I think it was still a little too cold. And I think the idea of taking a "bath" in the backyard weirded him out just a bit.

Needless to say, Braxton probably spent more time watching Mom and Dad get wet, acting like idiots trying to get him to want to get in. We did eventually put him in, but he never did sit down. He played a bit, and then made it pretty clear he was done with this new adventure.

The pool is still standing, and the water is still in. Maybe we'll give it another run tomorrow. Maybe he'll have a change of heart. Maybe... :)
