And Then There Were 2!
I figured there was no better time to debute baby number two than the present. This is a picture of me a few days ago, at about week 23 (or a little over 1/2 way through) of our second pregnancy. Along with that is a picture from the ultrasound that we had earlier this week (it's a profile of his face, in case you're wondering). The little guy (or gal) is measuring right on for our due date of July 14th. We decided (ok, I decided) that we didn't want to find out the sex of this baby. That being said, I am 99.9% sure that it is another boy. I have just had that feeling from the beginning. And though we didn't officially see anything that would lead us one way or another, Jon and I both left the ultrasounnd feeling pretty sure we will have another man in the house.
For those of you that wonder about these kind of things, I've been feeling great. No morning sickness, no bloating, no whatever else comes with some pregnancies. I've put on the weight a lot quicker than with Braxton (ugh!), but otherwise been feeling much the same. I can only assume that I and the little guy will sail through this thing pretty easily. I am lucky, I know. And I don't take that lightly! And also for those of you that wonder, Braxton has no idea what's going on. He could care less that my belly is the size of a small island. And doesn't care one bit that he's going to be a big brother. We'll see how that changes in a few months :).
