I workin' Daddy!

Braxton is officially a "working man". Jon has been working hard the last several months on finishing off our basement. With the new baby coming, we figured it was time to finally change our two bedroom house into a four bedroom. And Jon has been very fortunate to have a built-in assistant. Braxton has been the ever faithful handy-man by his Dad's side. He has graduated from "fixing" his toys, the recliner, etc., to "workin' " with Dad. He uses his tools, Dad's tools, or a combination of the two. And whatever his Dad does, he does, too. When you ask him, "Braxton, what are you doing?", his answer is most surely "I workin' ". And if he really wants Jon to get the point, he says "I workin' Daddy, I workin'!". Earlier this week, I was getting Braxton ready to go to school. I grabbed his shoes, and when I put them on his feet, I couldn't help but think - I do not know that there has ever been a two year old going to daycare with his shoes covered in drywall!
