R-O-D-E-O
To the rodeo we go (or went...). On Sunday. And oh what a day! We had a chance to spend the day in Valley City with some great friends. We ate at the Pizza Corner, went to the Winter Show Rodeo, enjoyed some air games, and made our travels back home, exhausted, but in a good way. We have been talking about the rodeo with Braxton all week. When it was the day to go, he was sooo excited to put on his cowboy hat and boots and tromp through some mud. He enjoyed watching all of the different animals, the cowboys, and the clown. He said that the horses were his favorite part.
Braxton was pretty good, given that the only nap he'd had that day was the 30 minute drive to Valley. And Kyler was just along for the ride as usual. He got a little tired of sitting around, and took a little cat nap, but for the most part just wanted someone to talk to... So, on the way home yesterday evening, we were all a glow with post-rodeo bliss. Bracky kept asking to "come here again another day". Kyler was zonked out. Dad and Mom were exhausted from hauling kids around all day. And we all smelled faintly of poop. Ah, the love of a family :).
