A Busy Weekend
Over Labor Day Weekend, Jon was gone on a wild elk hunt in Montana. From last report, it didn't sound like it was going too well... As of this afternoon, he had one shot, which was unsuccessfful. It has been raining out there for several days, and from what he tells me, once it rains, everything turns into a mess. He said to me "I just hope we can get out of here tomorrow...". So, we'll see if and when he returns home :).
While he was away, the boys and us had a great time. We spent most of the weekend with Aunt Kerri, Cousin Kaleb, and Grandpa Glen (Grandma had to work). We went to the wild-west shoot out at the buffallo. Braxton was pretty impressed. Anyone older than 4 wasn't... And on Sunday, we all ventured down to Aberdeen to check out storybook land. Everyone had a GREAT time. The little boys just loved the little slides and playground equiptment, and most of all just running free. And Braxton was in awe of all of the different fairytale creatures he could climb on, jump on, take pictures with, etc. He kept asking "what's next!?".Spending the weekend with Kerri and Kaleb was a ton of fun. I wonder, if Kyler and Kaleb could talk, if they would say the same thing... Now that Kyler is mobile, and a bit more vocal, the two of them fight over EVERYTHING. I do not know how many times one or the other was told "NO". "No, don't hit him. No, don't push him over. No, that's not your toy. No, Kyler, do NOT hit him with that rooster!" Oh, my! If they weren't both busy, busy, busy, they were TROUBLE, trouble, trouble! A sign of things to come?
