And, we're off..

So, the Perkins world has seen a ton of changes the last several weeks.  Braxton started off to the great big world of Kindergarten.  So far, so good!  He loves the learning and the day to day activities (especially gym, music, and library).  He tells me about all of the "awesome" food that they have.  (Sure, kid...)  He even enjoys his little homework assignments he has everyday.  I get a little nervous that he isn't making friends as easily as I had hoped, but that's definitely my fear more than his.  I am certain he will turn out a-ok :).

He starts soccer and Sunday School all in the next few weeks.  He is growing so, so fast!

Kyler also started Preschool at the same time.  He is very lucky to have Mrs. Tammy, Braxton's old teacher.  He goes three mornings a week, right across the hall from his daycare room.  He has also since started daycare again every morning.  All of his friends were so glad to see him.  And he didn't miss a beat - just hopped right back in like he had been there all summer long!

Being that he loves to do everything that Braxton does, he is fitting right into the day to day of preschool.

And little miss Etta started daycare as well.  Right now, I am finishing up three weeks of working 1/2 days.  Staring next week, she will be there all day long.  It has been a bit of an adjustment.  Probably more for me than for her :).  I couldn't believe that I cried the first day that I dropped her off!  It was really hard to leave her there.  I never cried when I dropped the boys off.  Not sure if it is because she is my little girl, or because she is my last baby, but it was harder than before...  But we are adjusting.  Slowly but surely we are getting in the swing of things.

And in the mean time, life continues to gain speed again.  Jon is crazy busy at work (though that never really changes).  And I have been trying to get back into the routine of working every day.  Add onto that all of the kids' activities (Sunday School, soccer, etc), trying to get Jon to complete some home-improvement projects (need a shed - too much stuff!!), and my photography business back in full swing.  With all of this, you could say our little household is back in the real world!!  Gotta love it!  It's our life :).
