How to Cook a Thanksgiving Turkey
As transcribed by Braxton's teacher, Mrs. Rohr, for the "How to Cook a Thanksgiving Turkey" compilation by the Louis L'Amour Kindergarten Class:
"We go hunting for our turkey and shoot it with a bow and arrow. We leave the feathers on and cook it in the oven at 10 degrees for 5 minutes. It is done when it looks like chicken. My mom carves it up and we eat mashed potatoes with it. After dinner, we get the play and my mom does the clean-up, but my dad has to pick up his plates! I am thankful for my family."
