Braxton's 7th Birthday

A few weeks ago, we were very fortunate to celebrate Braxton's 7th Birthday.  Though his actual birthday was pretty quiet - a little birthday breakfast at Perkins - the next day was the best birthday party ever!  We celebrated the big 7 with a "party in the dugout" at the first Red Hawks game of the season. We got to enjoy hotdogs and chips right near the dugout, everyone got Red Hawks hats,  and everyone had a chance to meet Hawk Eye - the famous Red Hawks mascot. We then had some wonderful seats by 3rd base, where the boys got a great view of the dugout and all the players come and go.  Everyone also got to enjoy some great baseball food - icees and cotton candy were top on the list.  Braxton was able to invite two of his friends, and cousin Kaleb was able to come all the way from Wilton for the big festivities.  Most of the grandma's and grandpa's made it as well.  At the end of the night, we carted home several VERY sleepy boys (dad included :), but it was well worth it.  What a great way to celebrate such a great kid!
