Pumpkin carving

On Sunday night, we finally got our Halloween pumpkins carved.  the kiddos have been waiting for what seems like forever to do it 0 or at lease since we went to the Pumpkin Patch.  Braxton and Etta both opted for a fancy stencil that required all of the fancy tools.  Kyler went the old fashioned route with a good old "scary face".  My pumpkin came next, but didn't make the picture because it was getting too late.  Though I didn't get any pictures of the kiddos digging away inside their pumpkins, you can take my word for it that it was a gooey, messy, fun time for everyone! Kyler refused to touch a pumpkin with anything but a spoon, but Etta and Braxton were both elbow deep in the mess.  Grandma Carol and Grandpa Glen came to supervise and give a helping hand, which was much appreciated!  So, now the countdown is on to Halloween!  Oooo scary!!!
