The Chronicles of Narnia

The night before the first day of school documented here!  The boys and I were very religious about reading together every night last school year.  We've have WAY fallen off the wagon over the summer.  So, when I told them that I had some really really good books in storage, they were all for it!  Braxton tells me that he read the first Narnia book in class last year, but it was so good that he was up for reading it again.  I couldn't WAIT!!

I remember reading these books when I was a little younger than Braxton, living in our old farm house in Mohall.  My aunt Sally and my cousin Claudia borrowed them to me.  And I fell in LOVE.  What an amazing adventure!  When Claudia died, Sally gave me the series.  So, these books are very close to my heart.  I am looking forward to reading them again, and likely taking a whole new perspective of these great adventures!  Here's to family and to tradition!!  Maybe one day, the boys will share these books with their kids ;).
