Headshots
Uncle Matt came over last night to get his headshot done. So, I took a quick chance to snap a few of the kids. Obviously, one was a bit more thrilled than the other two :). I'm so proud of these little buggers! Here's a snippet of what they are up to:
Braxton - has been very busy playing basketball. Twice a week he heads of to practice, and he's had a few tournaments so far. They've won a few games, but more importantly, he's having a great time and building his confidence. He continues to do amazingly well at school as well. His grades are killer, his teacher and friends love him, and he's excited to go every day. And to say that he is the best big brother a little girl could ask for is an understatement. We are so proud of this kiddo!
Kyler - Is our little loving, strong willed little guy. He loves with so much heart! He will hug and kiss you at the drop of a hat. But watch out, those emotions run strong both ways :). He can let you have it in the blink of an eye. He, too, is doing so well at school. His grades are amazing, he loves to spend time with his friends, and his teachers are impressed that he is a bit more outgoing than his big brother. He, too, has been playing a bit of basketball and has been busy talking with his dad about the upcoming race season.
Etta - Can we say "spitfire"? Oh, my. As our dear friends describe her - a sour patch kid - sour on the outside, sweet in the middle. She is so much more outspoken and forward than her brothers will likely ever be. And she has these eyes that are so expressive, they just draw you in.She is a girly girl, loving her dresses, and painting her nails, and doing her hair. But don't believe that makes her a push over. She knows what she wants, and she is smart enough to know just how to get it. She also is smart enough to have both of her brothers available at her beck and call whenever she likes (oh, and her daddy too :). All in all, to say that we are proud of these little buggers is a great understatement. Though we have our troubles, just like everyone does, I couldn't be more proud of what they are out there doing and the people they are growing to be!
