Applesauce

We were so fortunate that our neighbors gave us an entire basket full of apples. Not only did we have a great time picking them, we also had a great time peeling them. The kids actually had more fun peeling them than actually eating the applesauce that we made with them. Kaleb and Bree were staying with Grandma and Grandpa that weekend. So, they got to get in on all of the fun. What a blast to watch them run to grab an apple, get in line, and then to get to peel their apple. They would all laugh at the long peeling, laugh when one would fall off, and just laugh at the whole experience. Who would have thought that a bucket full of apples and a $20 peeler would have made for such a great time! (And I have to say, eating the applesauce was MY favorite part! Mmmm.)
