Happy Halloween
As always, Halloween was a great time this year! We carved pumpkins, and everyone got nice and gooey from the guts. Kyler, as always, gave Dad a hard time with his intricate design (his is the mummy). And we made cinnamon sugar pumpkin seeds (Yum!) We kicked off the weekend with the annual party at the Anne Carlson school. It's been a long time since we've been to their party, and we had a great time. The best part was the "haunted trail" where the kids got to fight off Star Wars guys with light sabers. The boys, Mom, and Grandma and Grandpa loved it. Etta, on the other hand, thought it was a bit too scary for her ;). On Halloween, I dressed up for work for the first time, well, ever. With my new job, it' fun to really get to get into all of the holidays! I was a scarecrow. The kids thought I looked weird ;). We then did some Trick-or-Treating at Edgewood, Granny's, and around the neighborhood. Once everyone got cold, we capped off the night with some Mexican food. Sounds like my kind of night!!
