Basketball

The boys' basketball season has come to end. We always love this time of year, and the end of the season is always bittersweet. We've spent the last 6 months getting both boys to practice twice a week, not to mention traveling I94 between Fargo and Bismarck (and one trip into Minnesota) to get these guys some game time.
I have to say that I am BEYOND proud of the work both of these boys have done this passed year. If the boy that started the season could see the boy that ended the season, he would not know what to do! I truly believe that both boys "came into their own" this past season. And they have both worked so hard to make those improvements. And, most importantly, on top of it all, had FUN.
I also have to say that I am so impressed that Jon took up assistant coaching Braxton's team this year. Before this year, Jon didn't know a whole lot about basketball. And speaking to a group of people (no matter how short :) ) is surely not his strength. But Braxton needed him. And he stepped in when it mattered.
So, until next year (or baseball season), rest well little ones!
