Matt and Mollie Bought a Cabin!

Matt and Mollie bought a cabin in Detroit Lakes! And it is perfect :). We were able to spend last weekend there, with them and Grandma and Grandpa. We showed up Friday night, and the kids instantly jumped in the lake. Saturday, we swam, and boated, and then took the kids water skiing with the Ski Club, for their annual "Teach Kids to Ski" event! Kyler opted out, but Braxton FINALLY got up on skis. This video shows him on short rope, but after a break he headed out with Jon and made it up on the "real deal". And then, while he and I were out getting his lesson, Etta and Mason both went out on the "little kids" boat. And, from Dad's report, they both "just kind of popped out of the water". From our boat, I was able to see them scooting around the lake like old pros! We wrapped up the day with dinner at Zorba's and a nice little camp fire and s'mores. We are so thankful that they let us spend the weekend with them!! Here's to next time, guys!
